Players will purchase a ticket and wait for the drawings on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11pm Eastern standard time. There are several cash prizes as well as a jackpot. If there are multiple winners, the jackpot will be split evenly among all winners. Powerball offers an annuity payment play which pays installments yearly for 30 years. A cash alternative is also available to players as well.
